The Youngstown State University Symphonette Orchestra consists of string players ranging from grades 5 through 8. We will wrap up the year on Monday, April 11, at 6:30 pm with our spring concert that will be held in Ford Recital Hall in the DeYor Performing Arts Center. The group will open the evening with the famous melody from Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, “Ode to Joy”. They will also perform several well-known pop tunes such as Clocks by Coldplay, Under the Sea from the Little Mermaid, and The Final Countdown by the 80’s band Europe. The group will conclude their performance with a rendition of The William Tell Overture by Gioachino Rossini.
