The Stambaugh Youth Concert Band provides extracurricular, high quality music education and performance opportunities to a select group of outstanding young musicians. Membership in the Stambaugh Youth Concert Band is a prestigious honor. The program not only provides the students with an opportunity to expand their musical knowledge and expertise, but it also provides them with the opportunity to meet and work with like-minded peers from other schools and communities throughout the region. Participation in the Stambaugh Youth Concert Band also helps to instill in the students the importance of hard work, integrity, work ethic, teamwork and discipline.
Founded in 2001, the Stambaugh Youth Concert Band is nearing its twentieth season.
